About the Role: 

You will be a member of a team providing media analysis services for global brands. This role entails the analysis of published media content for entity mentions, topics and themes relevant to Onclusive’s global enterprise client base. 

Your responsibilities: 

Your main responsibility will be to analyse news content in English language. You will review media content and then apply tagging and coding to systematically categorize and label each item according to predefined guidelines. There will also be an element of ‘curation’ work involved, checking news articles that have been analysed via automated means, ensuring these are correct and providing feedback where there are errors. 

 Analysis of news content 

•  Analysis will consist of cross-referencing news content with a client analytics brief; these are specific to each project and detail the predefined criteria and categorisation required for analysis. The briefs will include criteria such as sentiment, 
• spokespeople, competitors, topics and key messages. You will use Onclusive’s in-house Data analysis apps to perform the analysis. 
• Ensure accuracy and consistency while adhering to predefined guidelines.
•  For certain projects, you will provide summaries, written in English, which provide an overview of the news stories that you have analyzed for a given period. 

Service standards and improvement 

•  You will ensure timely delivery against project deadlines, working closely with your Team Leader and communicating any issues that arise.

 Communication 

•  You will maintain effective and frequent communication with the media analysis team and other stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed promptly. 

• Work with colleagues within your team working to ensure consistency of analysis. 

Record keeping 

• Update records as required on CRM/project management software. 

•  Keep accurate records of work completed and errors logged.

Who you are: 

● Excellent oral and written English. Other main European languages are an advantage.
● Experience in using MS suite including Excel and PowerPoint
● Ability to learn new software packages, including Onclusive’s in-house Data analysis apps
● The ability to communicate efficiently across multiple online platforms (emails, Microsoft Teams, project management software)
● A proven interest in media culture & understanding of the global corporate news agenda
● The ability to plan your own workload independently to meet deadlines
● Ability to work shifts as defined by Team Management; flexibility
